- Fr. Dr. Thomas Cheeran, Manager, Carmel group of institutions Felicitated and Rev. Fr. Francis Thaivalappil, former principal (1999-2002) and Manager of Viswadeephi group of institutions, Pollachi presided as the chief guest at the event.
- The Meeting started with a prayer from Bency – 2016 Alumni followed by welcome address by Mr.Sridhar – Staff. Rev. Fr. Dr. Thomas Cheeran, Manager, Carmel group of institutions nominated present principal Rev. Fr. Dr. Anson Panengaden as the chair person of the Alumni Association. - Thanks to Staff members-Senior staff Mr. Sridhar, Mr. Johnson, Mr. Mohan, Mrs.Anitha, Mrs. Nagarathinam who reached out and connected to all the batches until 2021. Overall around 45 alumni members from different batches joined the live meeting.
- Chairman and senior staff members conducted the election proceedings inviting nominations for listed (below) office bearer positions. Preference was given to the first 5 batches (1994-1999) to lead from front. The office bearers will hold the post for three years (2021 – 2024) after which a new set of office bearers would be elected. The Executive Committee members were chosen by the School Management who volunteered themselves to take the lead. Representatives from each batch until 2021 are selected as executive committee member of the Association to co-ordinate the alumni activities among individual batches. The event concluded with Vote of thanks delivered by Mr. Tom Franklin of 1994 batch.
- 02-Dec-2021 is fixed as inauguration of Ruby Jubilee year. Batchwise gatherings shall be planned by batches in consultation with the management. This is an opportunity to get connected to your batchmates.
- All the Alumni members need to carry the dictum “I am Carmel” wherever they are.
- The executive representatives should reach out to respective batches for future endeavours of CAAN.
